Tip #1:

Choose a venue that will allow you to bring in your own alcohol. This will save you big money with no minimums to meet!

Tip #2:

Serve one or two signature drinks or just your favorite liquor with mixers.

*This will help you save a lot of money & also control what your guests are consuming all night*

Tip #3:

Host cocktail hour & have a cash bar the rest of the night.

*All the guests will be happy to drink on you for awhile but your checkbook will be happy since you only paid for a hour*

*Make sure your bartending service is professional and experienced to make sure guests are not over drinking & everyone is being well taken care of*

Kick Your Champagne Toast Up A Notch

New Years Eve is right around the corner and that means you better get your Champagne toast ready. Champagne is by far the most popular drink for New Years Eve. Make your Champagne a bit more exciting this year with some simple additions that will make people say WOW.

**Put a dash of liquor to add variety. Leopold Brothers out of Denver make some of the best small batch liquors. Blackberry, Sour Apple, Cranberry, tart cherry and Peach.

**Try some flavored rock candy sticks to jaz up your bubbly. Or use some flavored suckers with extra long sticks, bubble gum center-bonus!

**One of the simplest and most elegant additions to your Champagne is a variety of fresh berries. I like Rasberries, Strawberries, and Blackberries.

**For an over the top garnish get some Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup for an amazing garnish at teh bottom of your flute.

These tips should help you on your way to making your New Years Eve Party memorable. Dont forget to hire your Denver or Chicago bartenders from With A Twist Bartending Service.

“What kind of beer should I serve at my party” is one of the most frequently asked questions. Although spawned from good intentions, we have worked many parties where there were five or eight differnt kinds of beer. When throwing a cocktial party at your home you really need to put some thought into the flow of your party. Where are people going to congregate and where are the possible bottlenecks. If your hiring a bartending service, you want to pick a space for the bar thats not on carpet, there will be some spillage. Also its nice to have the bar in an area thats contained so guests wont be able to see or get behind the bar. This keeps the clutter and extra supplies out of site and your bar area looking svelt. Be sure that you have plenty of space between the bar and any tables and chairs as people tend to congregate at the

Remember to Recycle!

These days more and more people are taking more care with their trash. If you are having a house party or wedding reception dont forget to put out the recycle bins. This is an often overlooked detail, but your guests do notice. People will always ask the bartender if there is a recycle bin and scoff when there is not. With A Twist Bartending uses compostable corn cups for our parties our glassware, no red keg cups please.

Also dont forget to label your trash and recycle containers otherwise you will have all kinds of mixed trash because people are left guessing.

Help us all out and make sure your venue is recycling!
